The pudding smelled so good in the oven that I can honestly say that I left it for 5 minutes, to leave it to cool like everyone else, and when I returned to take some pictures, part of it had already been eaten :)). So I decided that from now on I can cook when there are no more guests at home so I can present the recipe as in the book :))
The bread pudding is great for breakfast and was indispensable to my childhood. But I tasted it for the first time today and next time I will definitely double the quantities :))
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 200ml warm milk
- a sachet of vanilla pudding (or chocolate)
- 4 slices of bread
- a few small pieces of chocolate
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Bread pudding:
Cut the bread slices into small cubes. Mix eggs with the sugar until it has melted (or in my case, until you get bored that it hurts to melt the sugar in the oven :))). Separately mix the milk with the pudding then add over the egg mixture.
Grease the yena dish (or any heat-resistant dish) with butter. Put the pieces of bread in several layers and put the egg mixture on top. The mixture should cover the last layer of bread, but be careful not to run out of the bowl. chocolate and put the pudding in the oven for an hour, over low heat. Take the pudding out of the oven and share it with your loved ones :)!
