  • 2 cepe medii taiate julien
  • 1 cutie rosii cuburi (Haplea va recomanda rosiile Naturelo, de la SC Leader International)
  • 200 ml smantana dulce (de gatit)
  • 50 ml zeama de lamaie
  • 2 lingurite boia de ardei dulce
  • 2 lingurite curry
  • patru catei de usturoi (i-am pisat)
  • sare (dupa gust)
  1. mai intai amestecam ingredientele pentru marinat, cu care ungem bine carnea de pui. Lasam carnea la frigider aproximativ o ora.

1. Puiul se toaletează corespunzător, curățându-l cu grijă. Se pârlesc, cu o torță de bucătărie sau plimbându-l deasupra flăcării aragazului, orice urme de pene sau cotoare. După îndepărtarea urmelor nedorite de penaj, puiul se șterge cu grijă cu șervete de hârtie absorbantă de bucătărie, atât în interior și cât și pe exterior.

Observație: după ce ați atins carnea crudă de pui, spălați-vă atent pe mâini cu apă caldă și săpun înainte de a atinge alte obiecte.

2. Folosirea cepei și a rozmarinului e opțională. Puteți înlocui rozmarinul cu o altă plantă aromatică (cimbru, măghiran) pe care o preferați. Ceapa se poate înlocui cu 1 măr mic sau cu 1/2 de lămâie, important este să avem ceva care să aducă un plus de umiditate în interiorul puiului, în timp ce acesta se coace. Eu am împărțit ramura de rozmarin în două, jumătate am păstrat-o întreagă, pentru a o introduce în interiorul puiului. De pe cealaltă jumătate am îndepărtat frunzulițele, pe care le-am tocat mărunt. Ceapa am curățat-o și am tăiat-o în sferturi.

3. Usturoiul se curăță, doi dintre căței se păstrează întregi iar doi se toacă în lamele subțiri.

4. Se asezonează cu sare și piper interiorul puiului. Sub pielea care acoperă pieptul și pe cât posibil și pulpele superioare, se distribuie cât de uniform posibil usturoiul. În prealabil, usturoiul va fi tocat lamele, pe care le vom îndesa cu degetele sub pielea care se desprinde ușor. Se introduc în cavitatea puiului sferturile de ceapă. Cei doi căței de usturoi întregi și ramura de rozmarin se introduc tot în interiorul puiului.

5. Pentru a gati un pui la cuptor in punga de hartie, se unge puiul pe toată suprafața cu untură sau cu unt. Se presară puiul cu sare, piper, rozmarinul tocat și paprika. Se masează bine pentru ca aceste condimente să adere cât mai bine de pielea puiului. Se leagă picioarele puiului laolaltă cu ață de bucătărie. Tot cu ață de bucătărie, se leagă în jurul carcasei, peste aripi, fixându-le strâns de aceasta. Puiul astfel pregătit se bagă în punga de hârtie, care se va lega strâns, sigilând puiul în interior.

6. Puiul se așează într-o tavă și se dă la cuptorul preîncălzit la 180°C ventilat sau 190°C static, la o înălțime medie. Atenție, nu trebuie în niciun caz ca punga să atingă vreun element al cuptorului! Gătirea puiului în pungă durează 1 oră și 30 de minute. În final, se scoate tava din cuptor și se deschide punga cu grijă, aburii din interiorul acesteia sunt fierbinți și ar putea să ne ardă. Puiul este gata când are temperatura internă apropiată de 80 de grade Celsius. În lipsa unui termometru cu citire instantanee puteți aprecia că un pui la cuptor in punga de hartie e bine gătit dacă, atunci când e înțepat cu o furculiță, eliberează doar sucuri clare, fără urmă de sânge.

7. Se lasă puiul să se odihnească timp de 10-15 minute apoi se servește cald, alături de garnitura preferată. Great appetite!
